Les oiseaux

Mes oiseaux sont un modeste hommage à Jean-Jacques Audubon qui, au début du XIXe siècle, parcourut les profondes forêts d’Amérique, une boite d’aquarelles dans sa besace. Il avait le projet un peu fou de représenter tous les oiseaux du nouveau continent, du colibri à l’aigle royal. Si vous ne connaissez pas cet incroyable aventurier il est temps de le découvrir.

My birds are a modest tribute to Jean-Jacques Audubon, who in the early nineteenth century traveled through the deep forests of America, a box of watercolors in his wallet.
